Hello Heather, thank you so much for your constructive feedback. Our ‘Original Unsweetened’ flavour is 100% Nuts & Seeds with no added oils. This might be more suitable if you are looking to avoid Sunflower Oil entirely. For our other 4 flavoured products, we use a very tiny amount of Ontario-made Virgin/Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil from Pristine Gourmet, which is a 100% natural product and completely different from the highly-processed refined sunflower oils you see in most stores. It is important to consider the nutrition content of our proudct as a whole and not any single ingredient in isolation. We understand there there are varied internet opinions on 'seed oils', however, after examining the scientific evidence and consulting on this issue in great detail, we still believe the use of locally-sourced Cold Pressed Sunflower Oil to be the best fit for our products for a variety of reasons.
